Volunteering

Volunteering can be a challenging and rewarding experience that allows you to meet new people, give back to the community and learn new skills. Youth Projects International has various volunteering opportunities both in the UK and abroad.

At Youth Projects International all volunteers are valued and respected as key members that contribute to the growth of the charity. Therefore all our volunteers trained and supervised within their roles to

Volunteers support Youth Projects International in various programmes such as:

  • Administration
  • Young People Sexual Health Outreach
  • Fundraising
  • International Projects
  • Facilitation
  • Internships

Note: ALL our volunteers have to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check; in some cases an enhanced CRB is required especially when working with young people or other vulnerable groups.

UK projects

In the UK, Youth Projects International largely delivers programs in boroughs in North West London. For 2015/16 we have various programmes delivering various training courses, providing advice and guidance and promoting access to healthcare services young people in Westminster and Hammersmith & Fulham. So you could be involved in any of the following ways:

  • Supporting the Outreach team in delivering sexual health advice and information
  • Providing administrative and clerical support for the different projects
  • Fundraising

When you join us, you will be provided with training and a supervisor will be there to support you in every way possible making sure that your experience is enjoyable and worthwhile. International projects

Spend two weeks volunteering and traveling in Tororo Uganda as part as our international development projects! You will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities and contribute to projects abroad in communities where help is most needed especially among women and children.

Project areas include: medical treatment, care work, community development, working with children and raising awareness of HIV/AIDS.

Offer us your expertise to help us to treat, raise awareness and empower some of the worlds poorest people
